Agalloch are Coming to a City Near You (Yes, You!)

Hey man, Agalloch are going out on the road in June, what else do you really need to know? You’ve probably already bought your tickets and this is old news to you since Agalloch don’t tour too often and this is a special occasion indeed, a chance to hear them play songs from their new album The Serpent & the Sphere, out on May 13 via Profound Lore Records. If “Celestial Effigy,” the one new song we’ve heard so far, is any indication, it’s gonna be helluva ride.

Obsidian Tongue, Vex or the highly excellent and intriguing Jex Thoth will be opening the show depending on which part of the tour you’re able to catch. I’ll have just stepped off a 16 hour plane ride the day the tour hits NYC, but I feel like I absolutely must go to the show anyway!
