The Oncoming Unearthing of Unearth’s The Oncoming Storm
The Oncoming Storm, Unearth’s most famous (and in my opinion, best) album, turns ten in June. (I was about to say “I feel like I just bought it yesterday” when I realized that I bought a physical copy at Tower Records, which closed in 2006. So no, no I most certainly did not buy it yesterday.) The band will commemorate the anniversary of the Adam Dutkiewicz-produced release with a tour, on which they will perform the album in its entirety. Other than Armed for Apocalypse, I’m not too keen on any of the opening acts. But it’s easy to skip opening acts, and the band is playing some intimate rooms, so I’d call this one an overall win, wouldn’t you?
