There’s Only One Way to Get The Dillinger Escape Plan’s New Song, “Happiness is a Smile”

Terrific news: The Dillinger Escape Plan are going to release a new song called “Happiness is a Smile”! Doesn’t that make your lips curl up on other side into an expression which onlookers might interpret as happiness?

Alas, there is a small catch: according to the band’s Facebook page, the track will be available “ONLY on 7” & cassette on THIS tour. Limited colored vinyl at the merch table or cassingle through the VIP package.” Which means if you’re not going to see DEP on their upcoming tour with Trash Talk, Retox, and Shining, the only way you’re getting this song is by paying what I imagine will be some outrageous sum on eBay. And it’s a North American tour, so the band’s fans in other parts of the world are basically shit outta luck.

Ah, well. Such is life. Not all good things are to be enjoyed by all people.
