Motörhead’s Motörboat Announces Line-Up, Dates
Well, you can’t accuse Motörhead of not knowing exactly who their audience is.
The band has announced the line-up and dates for their terrifically-monikered Motörboat cruise, and while it’s certainly impressive, it’s also lacking in variety and, uh, well, I mean, if we’re being honest here… youth.
Here are the bands:
- Megadeth
- Motörhead
- Anthrax
- Zakk Wylde (I guess the rest of Black Label Society suffers from sea sickness.)
- Jim Breuer
- Danko Jones
- Fireball Ministry
- Wilson
By the way, I didn’t type that out of order — per the press release announcing the line-up, Motörhead are second-billed on their own cruise. I have no idea why that is.
Say, totally unrelated, but did you know that if you put a band’s name on the ticket for an event and that band cancels, you have to offer tickets holders a refund? So, for example, if you were promoting a festival or, gee, I dunno, a cruise, you would probably go to great lengths to either put just the name of the event on the ticket, or otherwise put the name of a band that was not likely to cancel on the ticket.
I don’t know why I just thought of that.
ANYWAY, Motörboat will take place on the Carnival Ecstasy from September 22-26. It goes from one part of Florida to another part of Florida to a part of Mexico. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, March 18. You can get more details here.
