Metallica for Heavy MTL Montreal?
The annual Heavy MTL festival has been rebranded as Heavy Montreal. Which is too bad, because according to Metal Insider, there’s a rumor goin’ ’round that Metallica will play the fest this summer, and a Metallica/Heavy MTL mash-up seems like a marketing no-brainer, doesn’t it?
This is also too bad because the good people of Montreal have managed to stay Metallica-free since 2009. Alas, into each life some rain must fall.
The Heavy Montreal né MTL line-up will be announced March 3. Here’s a teaser video to tide you over ’til then:
