Get the Tissues: Mastodon, Gojira, Kvelertak to Tour Together

UPDATE, Feb 11: Updated to include four additional dates. 

Rumors have been circulating for the past week or so, but it’s now officially official: Mastodon, Gojira, and Kvelertak will all hit the road together this spring. Christ on the crapper, that’s a helluva bill. I will voice one concern, though: I dunno if Mastodon 2014 can top Gojira and Kvelertak. I think Mastodon 2006 might’ve had a shot, but that band didn’t have to deal with the auto-tune-free clean vocals of Brent Hinds.  And I say that as a MASSIVE Mastodon fan. I can’t think of many bands that would be able to follow Gojira and Kvelertak right now.

Whatever. Like I’m not going to this. Anti-climactic Mastodon is still better than 99.999% of everything else.
