At Last! Behemoth Release New Video and Song, “Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel,” Announce Release Date for The Satanist

Four months after they first debuted the song live and a month after they started teasing its release, the Behemoth single and video, “Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel,” has finally arrived! What’s more, Metal Blade has, at last, announced a release date for the band’s new album, The Satanist: Feburary 4!!! That’s just two months from today! Two months is nuthin’. Shit’ll fly by.

So. The Grupa 13-produced video is below. It’s a really, really cool video, beautifully shot and edited and just as intense, spooky, and provocative as you’d expect from a ‘Hemoth clip (it fact, fair warning now — it’s NSFW on account of boobs n’ blood). The video is just icing on the cake, though; the real star, obviously, is the song. It’s the first official Behemoth release in more than four years, and the first thing the band has released since Nergal looked cancer in the eye, said “You don’t scare me, pussy,” and sent it running home with its tail between its legs.
