I See Stars Came Up with the Best Synchronized Stage Move EVER EVER EVER
Until today*, Attack Attack! held the title for Best Synchronized Stage Move EVER EVER EVER** thanks to their patented Guitar-Over-Head.
But these are not good days for Attack Attack!, and their recent bout of bad luck continues with I See Stars’ new video for a song called “Murder Mitten.”** For in that video, at the 2:25 mark, we get to see this:
What the hell? Do they not get dizzy doing that? Or is that why they’re called “I See Stars”?
In any case, bravo fellas. That is truly amazing. Some band is gonna have to do synchronized backflips to top this.
Here’s the video:
The Freudian in me would like to add one more thing: the opening of this clip is fascinating! Brothers Devin (vocals) and Andrew (drums) Oliver are toddlers in 1993. Devin is “singing” the way babies “sing,” and then Andrew gets the mic and a man’s voice (I’m assuming it’s their father) says “Now you sing, Andrew!” And here we are, twenty years later, and Devin is still “singing” and Andrew is still not. Your dad is still waiting for you to sing, Andrew. Your dad is still waiting!!!
*Is there already a shitty metalcore band called “Until Today”? If not, I call dibs.
**Obviously, Dr. Acula’s keyboardists’ incredible Keyboard Flip move is ineligible due to the fact that it only involves one member of the band.
***”Yeah, let’s call it ‘Murder Mitten,’ that’s a great idea!” Morons.
