What if Black and Death Metal Albums Were Children’s Books?
I had never heard of Helena Zmatlíková before today, but I guess the Czech artist is pretty well-known in Europe for the work she’s done on children’s book covers. But regardless of whether or not you grew up with Zmatlíková’s work, you will most certainly appreciate these Photoshop jobs of some of her covers, which re-imagine as them as album art for various black and death metal releases. Somebody should really license these to be the covers of those silly lullabye-versions-of-metal-music we’re always getting press releases about, doncha think?
