Toontrack Metal Month: Check Out the New “Rock Warehouse” Superior Drummer Expansion Pack
Toontrack Metal Month continues here at MetalSucks. Earlier in November we interviewed Jason Suecof, Daniel Bergstrand and Mark Lewis about their new Metal! EZX expansion pack for EZdrummer and we also interviewed the legendary Andy Sneap about his own EZmix 2 expansion pack featuring a suite of famous tones for guitar and bass. Today Toontrack announces their new “Rock Warehouse” expansion pack for their flagship drum programming software Superior Drummer, another piece of recording candy that you guys are gonna gobble up like you’re stealing children’s Halloween bounty.
The Rock Warehouse pack was recorded at The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver, Canada by producer Randy Staub (Metallica, Motley Crue, Alice in Chains) and drummer Ryan Vikedal. While we haven’t got an interview with the fellas who created it (yet! we’re working on it) we do have a really cool look at the making of this expansion pack in a new behind-the-scenes video. It’s always fascinating to learn how these things are created. Watch:
In case you missed them, Toontrack also released similar behind-the-scenes videos documenting the creation of the Metal! EZX and Andy Sneap packs. Check ’em out below:
