Dude Whose Throat Was Slashed at Deicide/Broken Hope Show is Doin’ Aight

Julio Serrano, the fan whose throat was slashed at an El Paso, TX Deicide show featuring support from Broken Hope last month, is, amazingly, alive and on the mend. Holy shit, that guy must be the luckiest dude in the world. He also now has pretty much THE most metal scar in history.

And, he has now received the ultimate metaphorical lollipop from the doctor’s office in the form of a Broken Hope care package:

That was nice of Broken Hope! Of course, this photo doesn’t show the care package Julio received from Deicide, which included multiple shits, a hoodie, a vinyl copy of their new album, and Steve Asheim. Yes, the drummer is now LIVING with Julio. “He’s basically pretty cool but he keeps drinking all the milk and not going to the store to get more,” Julio sighed. Ya take the good, ya take the bad.
