Living Sacrifice Conjure Up the “Ghost Thief”
Last week MS reader “A.V.” emailed to chastise us for not covering the new Living Sacrifice album. Sorry bro, hopefully we make right by you with this one.
“MetalSucks: placating readers who complain one at a time since 2007.”
And so: there’s a new Living Sacrifice song called “Ghost Thief” that’s streaming at Revolver right now, and you should check it out. It’s the title track from their new album out November 12th via Solid State. And it’s pretty good! It’d be completely unfair to label this “metalcore,” especially in light of the more modern bands that carry that tag… but in the sense of the original meaning of that word — metal meets hardcore ala late ’90s bands like Botch, Every Time I Die, Dillinger, etc — hell yeah it’s metalcore, and it rules. I never really paid a whole lot of attention to this band for no reason in particular (maybe the whole Christian thing turned me off) but perhaps now’s the time to start.
Stream the song here, then read the interview with the band that follows.
