Did Everyone Vote Yesterday?!?!?

New York may have a new mayor, but the real political question this season is who will be inducted next into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?  The induction ceremonies are usually killer diverse concerts broadcast on HBO, and this year’s nominees are no slouches.

For the second year running, YOU have a chance to play a role in the process — simply go vote for who should be included on the “fans’ ballot” and bet with your friends on who will pick the winners.

I’m guessing Nirvana and KISS will be locks (although the latter doesn’t seem nearly as worthy to me as a handful of the other nominees).  If YES and Deep Purple don’t get nods something is wildly off in the universe.  Why N.W.A. and LL Cool J are included in a list of rock and rollers is beyond me.  Same goes for The Meters, but being one of my top five favorite all-time bands I’m willing to let that one go and pray for a funky miracle.

My personal picks: Deep Purple, YES, The Meters, Cat Stevens, and Nirvana.  Who are you gunning for?
