East of the Stream: Listen to Redaction Artifacts in Full
MS reader HessianHunter did a fine job running the site on Friday, right? From his words to our ears: “Your guys’ job isn’t fucking easy, man.” Indeed! Let’s all give him a hearty round of applause.
Lotsa stuff happened in the metal world on HessianHunter’s day, but musically speaking none trumped the full album stream of East of the Wall’s breathtaking new album Redaction Artifacts over at No Clean Singing. That the site disobeyed the motto in its own name by so heartily endorsing the album should indicate to you just how good it is, as we’ve been saying for weeks already. Redaction Artifacts finds East of the Wall kicking out the intense, proggy, atmospheric, post-hardcore jams for which they’re known yet somehow upping the intensity level and taking a step forward despite the loss of two key bandmembers. It’s an album that’ll instantly impress but that’ll somehow still get better with each listen.
Listen to the album here. Order it on CD directly through the band, digitally from Amazon or on vinyl through Science of Silence Records.
