Metal Injection Kicks Off Season 2 of Louder Education with Testament’s Alex Skolnick
Hopefully, alla y’all caught the first season of Louder Education, the awesome original web series from Metal Injection, but in case you didn’t, the premise is this:
“Metal Injection presents Louder Education, a show starring Testament shredder Alex Skolnick, Sound Of Urchin’s Chris ‘Tomato’ Harfenist, and the students of T.H.O.R. (Tomato’s House of Rock). Each week on the series, a new special guest is invited to Tomato’s House of Rock, to discuss their journey in the music business, provide educational tips for the growing artists, and round off the show with a kick-ass jam with the kids.”
Sounds pretty great, right? Well, hey, lookee how that worked out: it IS pretty great!
Season 2 of the series has now kicked off, with Skolnick acting as the guest; not only does he jam with the students, but he shares some really interesting stories, too. My personal favorite: the anecdote about why the band covered Aerosmith’s “Nobody’s Fault” on their classic The New Order. Watch:
Stay tuned to Metal Injection in the coming weeks for more new episodes of Louder Education!
