Two New Trippy Author & Punisher Music Videos

Everyone should see Author & Punisher live at least once. Even if you’re not into his music (which you oughtta be, but still) the visual presentation of the live show is really just something you’ve got to see to believe. One man. One laptop. A bunch of giant, mechanical metal machines. Somehow, from all of it, music spews forth. It’s really something.

CvltNation has two new videos culled from Author & Punisher’s summer tour with Phil Anselmo that hint at what it’s like to see him live without being super-obvious about it. The videos are mostly comprised of Author & Punisher’s live backdrop visuals created by Will Michaelson, aka Cutmod, and they’re sparsely mixed with live footage of the performance to bring it all together. These videos definitely capture the feeling of what it’s like to watch Author & Punisher without exactly capturing the experience, which is kind of a cool way to go about making music videos. Watch:
