Machine Head Think Avenged Sevenfold May Have Copied Their Logo

In case you thought that Robb Flynn’s crack about Avenged Sevenfold being a cover band was gonna be the end of Machine Head’s little feud with A7X, well… think again! Machine Head have posted the following message on their Facebook page:

And here are the logos in question:

They are very similar… but then, they also both look like any number of crest designs. I would also be curious to know when A7X designed theirs; if it was after the whole Flynn tête-à-tête, then it seems that much more likely that A7X deliberately aped Machine Head (albeit presumably as some kind of joke/payback). Otherwise… I mean, for A7X to rip-off Machine Head BEFORE Flynn made his comments is just too much of a coincidence, isn’t it?
