Back in August Decibel Magazine managing editor and fellow lover of both Matt Harveys teased “Zochrot,” a B-side from Carcass’s Surgical Steel that appeared on the flexi disc within the October 2013 issue. That song has finally made its way online, so click here to listen to it right now as Andrew and I cry ourselves from another woeful losing season into… most likely, another one. Elsewhere in Carcassland, Metal Injection brought three cameras out to the show at Brooklyn’s tiny (by Carcass standards) Saint Vitus Bar on Wednesday night and did a bang-up job filming the show and capturing the energy in the room. If you fast-forward to 48:50 you’ll hear the part where Jeff Walker called “the guys at MetalSucks” posers — hooray! Vindication. For the record, we were there; I was taking a piss and Axl didn’t wanna be the lone a-hole to scream out. But we met Jeff after the show and he was a good sport about it. Watch:
