Follow So Hideous Into the “Light”

So Hideous, who may be the world’s first ever orchestral post-hardcore band, are now streaming a new song, “My Light,” over at Invisible Oranges. If you’re still not on board with the band, even after I just sang their praises last week, this track makes a great “jumping on point” — it’s exemplary of the way the band so expertly mixes raw noise with melancholic melody. So Hideous make the kind of musc which can make you feel really invigorated and bummed out at the same time.
