Exclusive: Meek is Murder Everything is Awesome Nothing Matters Video Report from GodCity Studio

Yesterday, Meek is Murder announced the impending release of their new offering, Everything is Awesome Nothing Matters, via history’s greatest album teaser video. Today, the band offers up some more info via this video report from GodCity Studio, where the band recorded the album with Converge’s Kurt Ballou (who also handled mixing duties). In addition to an interview with Ballou which proves to be both informative and droll, the two-and-a-half minute clip also features your first taste of new music from Everything is Awesome Nothing Matters — which, we should add, we have now heard, and, yes, it’s absolutely killer. Grindcore and hardcore aren’t exactly genres known for bands that display artistic growth, but MiM have once again taken a big evolutionary stomp forward, diving into new creative waters without sacrificing any of the raw energy — or flat-out weirdness — which made us fall so hard for them in the first place.
