Exclusive Video Premiere: Bear, “Rain”

Belgium’s Bear are an interesting beast: their music isn’t too far of a cry from what you might expect to find elsewhere on their new label Basick Records, but their progressive-metal-meets-hardcore sound is definitely its own animal that doesn’t feel in the slightest bit derivative. Close comparisons for those too lazy to click “play” below to find out for themselves: kinda like Helmet meets Textures. Couple that with an incredibly striking, beautifully shot and quirky video for their new song “Rain” — which MetalSucks is proud to exclusively premiere to the world — and this new band has definitely got us intrigued for what’s to come.
