Take Some Blunt Hits with The Atlas Moth
One listen to An Ache for the Distance should be enough to clue you into the fact that The Atlas Moth enjoy the ganj quite a bit. You might come to the same conclusion if you ever talk to the band members after one of their shows. Or you could just take a look at the name of their forthcoming compilation: Master of Blunt Hits. Right… Snoop Dogg Lion ain’t got nothin’ on these guys.
The new release is just a combination of the band’s debut EP Prey For Tides and their covers EP One Amongst The Weed Fields repackaged into one, but that could be a good thing if you aren’t familiar with their old material. The vinyl version will ship this winter — CD and digital copies will come out sooner — and will be limited to 500 hand-numbered copies in the following colors:
100 – Transparent Milky Clear
150 – Transparent Olive Green
250 – Transparent Orange Crush
Order yours right here for just $15 before they sell out.
The Atlas Moth reportedly have their next original / new material album written, so hopefully we’ll get hear that at some point in 2014.
Side note: anyone else think that album artwork looks a lot like that of East of the Wall’s Ressentiment?
