In Honor of Vernon Reid’s Birthday

Today, Vernon Reid, one my favorite guitarists of all time, turns fifty-five years young. (And, funny enough, Living Colour’s sophomore album, Time’s Up, was released twenty-three years ago Tuesday.) So much has already been written about the man’s genius — including here at MetalSucks — that I’m not really sure what else I can say about the dude at this point, other than this: I hope he lives another fifty-five years. I have little doubt he’ll continue to make awesome music until the day his fingers stop working, and possibly for a few months afterwars. Happy birthday, dude!!!
