Ghost Announces Off-Dates From Avenged Sevenfeld Tour (with Skeletonwitch)

Not content to simply play second fiddle (third, really) on the massive arena tour juggernaut that is their run with Avenged Sevenfold and Deftones, Ghost have lined up a series of headline dates of their own while the aforementioned two bands take some down-time. Skeletonwitch will open, in a reprise of sorts of the two bands’ run together earlier this summer. Here are the dates:

10/04/2013 Majestic Theatre – Madison, WI
10/07/2013 Newport Music Hall – Columbus, OH
10/14/2013 Bijou Theatre – Knoxville, TN

Ghost have another date without Skeletonwitch on 10/25 in Phoenix, AZ, according to The PRP.

So this begs the question: are Skeletonwitch set to announce a tour of their own in the near future? It seems a bit unlikely they’d just play these three dates, although they are all in striking distance of their hometown of Akron, OH, so it’s certainly not impossible. I sure hope so, ’cause I need my live fix of the ‘Witch and I missed ’em this summer.
