It’s a gray and drizzly day here in bloodthirsty Brooklyn.

But before we know it the sun will shine anew, and it will again be time to increasingly push envelopes, challenge yourself further, and make more waves in whatever it is that you do…

DON’T BE AFRAID TO FAIL, FOR YOU MAY ACTUALLY FUCK SOME SHIT UP SUCCESSFULLY!!!!!!!!

Speaking of fucking shit up, we here at the MS Mansion are uber-excited to be on the cusp of this year’s NYC date on the infamous Summer Slaughter tour, hitting Manny-Hatty this coming Wednesday. What’s not to like? Dillinger, Norma Jean, Animals As Leaders, Revocation, and several more……Times Square will never be the same!

My most anticipated band on the lineup, though, is definitely Germany’s The Ocean. Hot on the heels of a stellar 2013 release entitled Pelagial, these krazy krauts really know how to tell a musical story, and having seen them live a few times prior I can safely say we are in for quite a treat.

Furthermore, the lovable members of this sea-faring band will also be on hand at my band’s FAMILY‘s last show of the year this Tuesday night at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, signing autographs on your heads/hearts/boobs, drinking shots with you, and whatever other general “meet and greet” type stuff you can think of. The show will also feature performances by The Binary Code, Black Table, and a super-special secret headliner coincidentally named “Pelagial” that I’m told fans of The Ocean will absolutely love…
