Clowns and Some Light Breaking and Entering: Backstage Stories from Mayhem Fest 2013

You thought Machine Head’s Robb Flynn getin’ dolled up in drag for Mayhem Fest Prom was a funny story? Shhhheeeet. That ain’t nuthin’. Metal Injection recently caught up with a bunch of bands on this year’s edition of the tour — including members of Job for a Cowboy, Born of Osiris, Battlecross, and Butcher Boobies — to question them about their most unique experiences on the trek for their “Ask the Artist” series, and some of the answers are pretty goddamn great. Who had to break into a laundromat, so desperate were they to clean their clothes? Which band hired clowns for their post-show party? All is revealed in this video, which is seriously worth watching just to hear Evan Seinfeld (ex-Biohazard/current Attika 7) talk about dancing the horah. Check it out:
