Dave Mustaine Claims “I am One of the Few Thrash Metal Guys Who are Brave Enough to Delve Into Melody,” is Wrong

In a new interview, Megadeth guitarist/vocalist/buffoon Dave Mustaine makes the following claim:

“I think I am one of the few Thrash Metal guys who are brave enough to delve into melody.”

This assertion is so patently incorrect as to suggest that Mustaine is either delusional (definitely a possibility), completely unaware of the work of other people (also definitely a possibility), or unclear about the definition of the word “melody.” It’s just so wrong that I feel like I shouldn’t even have to provide twenty-six examples.
