Euroblast Fest Announces Final Headliner!

You’ve entered your band to win an opening slot at this year’s awesome Euroblast festival in Germany (co-sponsored by MetalSucks). You’ve arranged travel, accommodations, and tickets (in case your band doesn’t win). You are pumped about opening-night headliners Textures, about Saturday headliners The Ocean, and about The Agonist, Arsis, Xerath, Twelve Foot Ninja and gosh pretty much all of the awesome Euroblast bill. So it’s like you’ve got your table set, your bib strapped in place, condiments uncapped, and a growling stomach — but where’s the steak?

Yay! It has just arrived before your slobbering maw: At 2 pm CET, fest organizers announced their closing-night headliner. And it’s a jim dandy, the Led Zeppelin of djent: MESHUGGAH! It just feels right, don’t it?

The three-day festival will be held at the Essigfabrik in Cologne, Germany on October 11-13, and tickets are on sale now. Three-day passes cost just €89, while three-day pass + accommodations packages are €129 and €169. What a bargain! Even overseas commuters will have plenty to spare for party favors and barf-proof shirts upon arrival!
