Attila’s Chris Fronzak: Humble, Realistic
This could be a really important week for metal: if Attila’s new album doesn’t sell “huge,” then vocalist Chris Fozziebear will quit the music business, and metaldom will be spared another talentless hack. (We don’t know what would qualify as “huge” in Fozziebear’s eyes, but I’m hoping it’s anything that provides him with a big fat royalty check, which isn’t really even a real thing anymore.) While we count down the days to see whether or not that actually happens, though, Fozziebear is busy patting himself on the back for something that he may or may not have actually done:
Anyways, I wrote the most controversial metal record that exists and it comes out tomorrow, so bring the hate! #AboutThatLife

I guess the album is controversial insofar as it’s divisive (some people hate it, and some people make Forrest Gump look like Stephen Hawking). But “the most controversial metal record that exists”? Do you think he means ever? ‘Cause, I mean, no, no it’s not. It’s not even, like, one of the ten most controversial metal records of all time. Honestly, Twisted Sister’s Stay Hungry is more controversial. At least that album got the attention of Tipper Gore. I doubt if Tipper Gore has ever even heard of Attila.
Also, does anyone know if Fozziebear writes all the music on Attila’s albums without any help whatsoever from the rest of the band? Or did he just say “I wrote” as opposed to “we wrote” because he’s a colossal turd? I’m betting it’s because he’s a colossal turd.
