Phil Anselmo’s “Bedridden” is a Metal Tornado

There’s a movie streaming on Netflix called Metal Tornado; I haven’t watched it, but it stars Lou Diamond Phillips, so how can it not be an instant classic?

Here’s a plot description:

“After a research project goes awry, a scientist and his team race to stop the monstrous magnetic tornadoes their experiment spawned. But fueled by infinite energy and shredding everything in sight, the trillion-watt twisters may prove unstoppable.”

I mention this because now, with “Bedridden,” we’ve heard a three songs from Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals’ upcoming Walk Through Exits Only, and I’m inclined to predict that the entire record is, indeed, going to sound like a metal tornado: fueled by infinite energy and shredding everything in sight, a trillion-watt twister that may prove unstoppable.
