High on Streamer: Spitting Fire Live Vol 2. Streaming in Full

High on Fire are releasing a double-disc live album appropriately titled Spitting Fire on June 18th. The discs were recorded at two different NYC shows on consecutive nights (The Music Hall of Williamsburg and The Bowery Ballroom), then the audio was mixed by Greg Wilinson at Earhammer Studios in California with additional engineering by Converge’s Kurt Ballou.

The second disc of the set is streaming in full at Pitchfork right now. It’s not clear whether each disc represents one show or whether they were comped together and the discs go back and forth between shows, but who cares: you can hear the sweat and piss and vinegar and hair and mosh and Matt Pike’s glorious shirtless torso oozing from every orifice of this recording, and it is glorious.
