A New Extol Song and Music Video All At Once

The new self-titled Extol album comes out between June 21 and 25 (depending on where you live), although I’ve yet to hear it in full. The band has only released one song, “Open the Gates,” and it’s fucking phenomenal; the album teaser they released with approximately 30 seconds of each songs sounds pretty great too.

Today we get another new song, “A Gift Beyond Human Reach,” along with an official video. The song is a bit of a departure for Extol, more upbeat than we’re used to hearing from them, but it’s still got that trademark Extolness to it that we all know and love. The video is fun, too; while it’s a faux-live clip it’s done in such a way that’s it’s not boring to watch, shot in a grand, empty, old theater with cameras circling the band 360 degrees.
