Czech Appeals Court Upholds Randy Blythe “Not Guilty” Verdict
It would seem that, FINALLY, Randy Blythe has now been 100% cleared of responsibility for the death of Lamb of God fan Daniel Nosek in 2010. He was acquitted in March, but prosecutors being prosecutors, they appealed the decision; now, according to The Richmond Times Dispatch, the appeals court has upheld the original decision. And while legal systems often allow for the appeal of an appeal, this decision by Prague’s High Court is final, according to a spokesperson.
That doesn’t mean Blythe is just going to forget about what happened; as is appropriate, he has displayed an ongoing conscientiousness about Nosek’s death and its cause, and I imagine it will stay with him his whole life. Still, it’s good to know that, at least from a legal standpoint, Blythe’s ordeal is now officially over once and for all.
