New Exivious: Still Sexivious

Dutch fusion-metal outfit Exivious teased their new album Liminal back in December of last year, and finally, six months later, here we are with our first new song. It was worth the wait: guitarist Tymon Kruidenier and bassist Robin Zielhorst (both no longer members of Cynic) are as tight as ever, and new drummer Yuma van Eekelen has picked up right where Stef Broks (Textures) left off. “Entrust” is every bit as funky, proggy, groovy, jazzy, wonky, and super-sweet as the material on the band’s self-titled debut album. Pre-order Liminal here; though the crowd-funding goal has been reached, orders are still open. No exact release date has been announced, but the band promises a summer delivery date.
