The Acacia Strain’s Vincent Bennett Sings Real Good

The Acacia Strain have posted a video of their vocalist, the great Vincent Bennett, performing the band’s track “Dr. Doom” while participating in a round of the video game Rock Band. And I know that sounds completely ridiculous, but it actually ends up being really interesting for two reasons:

1. There are still people who play Rock Band???
2. Bennett actually sings the song, as opposed to screaming it the way he normally does. And even though he’s clearly goofing around, it actually sounds like he’s a better singer than half the guys who are actually trying to sing in metal. I mean, I’ll take this over Phil LaBonte any day.
