Awesome Tour Alert: Hivesmasher with Tiger Flowers, The Binary Code, and Cognitive

Lemme tell you why I like this tour: not only are the bands awesome, no two of them sound alike. In fact, their sonic relationships are tenuous at best: Hivesmasher play straight-up grind while Tiger Flowers are more of a hardcore band, and, okay, The Binary Code and Cognitive are both death metal, but The Binary Code are super-techy and Cognitive are super-smashy. This is the kind of variety I love to see at a show.

The trek kicks off tomorrow night. I’m not sure about every stop on the tour, but I know at least some of these will have regional acts, too — for example, Family are opening the show tomorrow night. It’s gonna be so much fun! Get dates on the poster below:
