This is the new Queensryche song “Where Dreams Go to Die,” the second we’re hearing from the non-Tate version of the band (peep “Redemption” here):

And it’s pretty good! Right? Nothing that’s gonna win album of the year honors or anything like that, but easily the best Queensryche material in nearly two decades. I’ve now heard the album in full and it’s got more of the same; solid, catchy songs that sound like some approximation of Queensryche without the egotistical bloat Geoff Tate brought.
