Set and Setting
Set and Setting’s new album will be released by Science of Silence records, the label that brought us releases by If These Trees Could Talk, Constants, Hull and a split by Monolith and Voyager. That should tell you pretty much everything you need to know about the sonic cloth from which Set & Setting are cut. Dramatic, dynamic post-metal is the name of the game, with expansive atmospherics making every peak that much higher and every valley that much deeper. Lots of bands these days traffic in this kind of music, but few are this good at it.
