Stream the New TesseracT Song “Of Matter – Proxy” Right Now

After months of teasing us with preview clips of their new album Altered State, TesseracT are finally giving us a whole lotta new music to chew on. Last week we got a catchy new jam called “Of Mind – Nocturne” and today we get the album’s opener, “Of Matter – Proxy,” exclusively via Spotify and streamable below.

At this point you probably already know whether you enjoy TesseracT or not, and this song is pretty much in line with what you’d expect from the band and therefore unlikely to make any new converts. TesseracT aren’t my favorite band in the world but I like ’em just fine, and I feel the same way about this song. As I’ve said before in the run-up to this album, I really dig new singer Ashe O’Hara’s voice; I think the guys made a great choice there. The song ends rather abruptly because the album is one continuous piece of music and meant to be listened to as such.

Altered State will be released on May 28th. The album is not available for pre-order yet because I don’t know why.
