Best Advertisement Ever of the Day: Big Bob’s Marshall Warehouse

What follows is an ad for Big Bob’s Marshall Warehouse, a [possibly fictional?] Marshall amplifier distributor based somewhere in the good old U.S. of A. I’m a bit late to the party on this one, but not that late; only 33,000 folks have watched this incredible ad since it was uploaded in 2011, and a quick Google search turns up nothing but posts on guitar message boards.

This might be the single greatest local store advertisement of all time. It harkens back to an era when salesmen were snaky, slimy dirtbags, in an irresistibly lovable way. I find myself not only wanting to buy a Marshall, but wanting to buy one from this guy… maybe to prove that real men buy Marshalls, not bo-tique ladies’ underwear.
