Barn Bummer

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. And so with yesterday’s joyous news that Attack Attack! are calling it quits comes this total boner-killer: Barn Burner, a young band that actually had a whole heckuva lotta promise, are packing it in. From the band’s Facebook page:

The band played the MetalSucks/Metal Injection/1000 Knives CMJ showcase in 2011 and absolutely blew me away — they had this totally legit rock star vibe that you just don’t really see all that often in modern metal bands. I always thought we’d have more time together, that we’d get to know one another better still, but… [sniffle, sniffle]… I guess this is really the end…

If you’re in a position to go to one of these last shows, I encourage you to do so! Ironically wear an Attack Attack! shirt to the gig so the band can identify you as a MetalSucks reader and potential purchaser of a round.
