The Title Track From Megadeth’s Super Collider is F*cking Garbage
Full Metal Jackie debuted the title track from Megadeth’s new album, Super Collider, over the weekend, and… wow. Just… wow.
Is it a coincidence that just as Dave Mustaine’s cockery has reached its peak, he releases what is undeniably the shittiest Megadeth song since anything from 1999’s infamous stinker, Risk? Some of you will surely say, “Oh, Axl, you just don’t WANT to like this,” but only those living in the deepest depths of denial could argue that this is a good song. It’s middle-of-the-road, middle-aged rock at its most generic, like Mustaine was trying to write his version of Tom Cochrane’s “Life is a Highway” and failed miserably. The song is so shitty that it’s trite, religiously-themed lyrics don’t even hurt it that much, because they’re just the equivalent of giving inoperable cancer to an Ebola sufferer.

Dear Jesus Christ,
Thank you for making the decision to leave Dave Mustaine behind such an easy one.
Sincerely,
Double-Jew Axl Rosenberg
