Norma Jean Release Second-Greatest Lyric Video Ever

While I still think The Tug Fork River Band’s “Ex-Wives” is the single greatest lyric video ever produced*, Norma Jean’s new lyric video, for the song “Shark Bite,” has to be a very close second.

A statement from the band explains:

“We saw that all the coolest bands are making lyric videos, so here ya go. Now you’ll know exactly what we’re saying!”

Which really is very helpful — I really could not understand what Cory Brandan was saying before, and now that I know, the song takes on a much deeper and more complex meaning. It’s poetry, pure and simple.

Norma Jean’s new album, the title of which is still TBD or TBA or maybe TCBY, will be out later this year.
