Scion Rock Fest 2013 is Shaping Up Nicely
On Saturday, June 1, Scion — maker of fine automobiles and even finer socks — will once again demonstrate how evil they are by putting on the fifth annual FREE Scion Rock Fest, which I think isn’t called “Scion Metal Fest” only so as to avoid scaring the neighbors and attracting the attention of local welders and blacksmiths. Yesterday, the first batch of bands for this year’s edition of the event were announced, and, no surprises, it’s pretty much all winners across the board:
Testament
Melvins
Municipal Waste
Corrosion of Conformity
The Casualties
Pallbearer
Six Feet Under
Impaled
Vision of Disorder
Arsis
A Life Once Lost
Code Orange Kids
The Shrine
Ice Dragon
Subrosa
Anciients
Complete Failure
Indian Handcrafts
Noisem
FUCK! That line-up is so sweet that it makes me wanna check out the few bands on the bill I don’t know already (who the fuck are Ice Dragon?). More bands should be announced shortly, and it’s hard for me to imagine that they won’t do anything but sweeten the deal. And, again, admission is going to be 100% free. And you know what that means, don’t you? MORE MONEY FOR SCIOCKS!!! AWESOME!!!!!
