Six Feet Under and Whitechapel’s Ben Savage Experience “Neuro Osmosis”
“Neuro Osmosis,” which is now streaming over at Pure Grain Audio, is the opening track from Six Feet Under’s Unborn, and it’s about as good a way to get listeners onboard as I can imagine. A chunky, groove-laden, elephants-marching-riffic death metal tune, it was co-written by Whitechapel’s Ben Savage — and much the same way the Rob Arnold SFU material sounds like that guitar player’s interpretation of a Cannibal Corpse song, “Osmosis” sounds like Savage’s version of a Cannibal Corpse song. I’m sure there are Six Feet Under fans who will complain that it’s too deathcore-y, but those people are dickheads. And insofar as Whitechapel fans go, well… I would not be surprised one iota if this converted a few of ’em into SFU admirers as well.
Jam that shit right here. Six Feet Under’s Unborn comes out March 19 on Metal Blade.
