It’s funny to think that unofficial SXSW day parties were severely frowned upon back in the olden days. Now they are expected! And why shouldn’t they be? Free concerts, free beer, free grub. What more could a starving, broke metalhead ask for?
Below is an extensive (but, no doubt, non-comprehensive) list of the unofficial SXSW day parties. The amount of information varies depending upon the sponsors or venues responsible for these gigs. If there aren’t set times, addresses, age limits, etc. listed, it’s because they weren’t available by the time this list went to print. If you have specifics that aren’t listed here, feel free to leave them in the comment section.
