Video: Duff McKagan and Page Hamilton Audition for The Postal Service

This Funny or Die video, in which various famous musicians audition to join The Postal Service, is really just an extended commercial for the tenth anniversary edition of that outfit’s Give Up. And, honestly, it’s only intermittently funny — I mean, Moby really steals the show, which isn’t exactly a great sign. Still, it’s a enjoyable enough watch, and you have to appreciate that Duff McKagan apparently has a sense of humor about the fact that the general public does not give two fucks about him (or Velvet Revolver, apparently) despite his “pedigree.” I also appreciate the rather political manner in which he side-steps the fact that there were, in fact, three blonde guys in Guns N’ Roses (just not all at the same time).
