Halestorm Won the Bullshit “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance” Grammy
I feel obligated to report that Halestorm won this year’s “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance” Grammy for their cleverly titled song, “Love Bites (and So Do I).” I’m kind of surprised because Halestorm were probably the least famous of the nominees, but I’m not surprised at all because Halestorm were also the least metal of the nominees. I mean, look at Neil Portnow, the president of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, a.k.a. “The Grammy People”:
Oh yeah. This dude spends a lot of time listening to Lamb of God. I hear he’s also way stoked about the new Carcass record.
