Sebastian Bach and Steve Stevens are Working Together
Okay okay okay, so Sebastian Bach can be kind of a yutz and Steve Stevens looks like a drag queen after a rough Saturday night. But there’s no getting around these two facts:
- Baz’s pipes still sound great.
- Steve Stevens writes awesome pop metal songs and can play his ass off.
Which is why we should all be excited that the duo are now working on new material together. Baz broke the news via his Facebook page, where he posted the above inadvertently hilarious photo of himself standing with Stevens in front of a bunch of tacky Elvis memorabilia, as well as the below message:
“NEW STUDIO ALBUM UPDATE: Ideas are just starting to take shape for the next studio record. The legendary guitarist / great friend Steve Stevens has come up with one track so far that will definitely be on my next record. It is a kick ass cool rock ‘n roll song that I guarantee will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck”
Of course once upon a time Baz was gonna write an album with Jamey Jasta and that never came to fruition, so there’s always the chance that we never hear about this again. But I really, really hope we do. And I hope Baz gets Stevens to write more than one song for him. I really think the only thing holding Bach bach from making a really cool and memorable solo album is that, to date, the songs just weren’t there. Baz still needs to find his Randy Rhoads, or his, um, Steve Stevens.
