Stream Rotten Sound’s Grindiculously Good New EP

I know 2013 is going to be a good year for metal because Rotten Sound’s new EP, Species at War, is only, like, the fourth or fifth best release scheduled for this year that I’ve heard so far this year, and Species at War is really, really goddamn good. Sure, it’s just six songs in under nine minutes, but like Robb Flynn says, brevity is a virtue. And Sami Latva’s drumming alone might be reason enough to listen to this thing. If the act of getting punched in the gut so hard you puke was a drummer, it would be Sami Latva.

Also, turns out you can do a lot of brain damage to a listener in nine minutes. Like, a LOT.
